Hello,I'm
Sheyanne Eliason
GRAPHIC DESIGNER & CREATIVE
I like to consider myself a versatile-creative who is passionate about marketing, graphic design, and print. My education, graphic design internship, and freelance projects have shaped me into the creative individual I am today. I know I have only grazed the surface of the diverse and evolving graphic communications industry, but I am eager to keep learning!
It is easy for me to be self-motivated and adaptable because I truly enjoy taking on new challenging design work. I am able to work on multiple graphics projects simultaneously. My strong work ethic pairs well with my can-do attitude. If I’m unsure of how to complete a project, I am proactive in figuring out a successful solution, or not afraid to ask for assistance. I spend much of my free time watching new design tutorials or reading industry blogs to enhance my skills. I work well independently but seem to produce my best work when I can openly collaborate and get feedback from a team.
I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Cross-Media Graphics Management degree. There I learned the entire graphics production process from using software tools to design images and graphic layouts for print and digital media; various production needs with aspects of color management, production quality, print equipment; through binding, finishing, and delivery. The diverse range of learned skills has prepared me to successfully create visual graphics in both print and digital forms. I received hands-on experience on equipment such as offset, flexographic, and digital presses, as well as finishing operations like cutting, folding, laser engraving, and binding. The variety of projects I have completed include but are not limited to brochures, posters, publications, logo design, personalized graphics, t-shirt designs, label designs, advertisements, and more.
Print is not going anywhere, and digital marketing is continuously evolving, and these are the combination of my educational degree. Additionally, I became very intrigued with how to utilize data and design to digitally distribute marketing assets. My coursework also includes marketing experience with SEO, HTML5/CSS, analytics, paid search, understanding user experience, and more. I have developed omnichannel campaigns that utilized direct mail, email blasts, augmented reality, responsive websites, and social media integration.
I am ready to apply my knowledge to a graphic design, marketing or similar graphic communications career with an innovative company! I look forward to discussing my qualifications to meet your organization’s needs.
